WebSCAN is a software program that you install on your PC. This software combined with a good document scanner, can enable you to upload hundreds, perhaps thousands of documents a day into your storage space. Processing documents is easy. You just scan your document, enter the index information and go on to the next. Once you're ready to send them to WebDOCK, dialup and hit the upload button. How's that for simple? This method is ideal for uploading large amounts of documents at a time.
WebSCAN can process both scanned documents and electronic files on your hard drive. It can also be used to handle electronic files even if a scanner is not present. WebSCAN is by far the fastest and most productive way to add documents to your storage space. It is also free with your subscription to WebDOCK.

This easy to use form allows you
to upload documents from your local hard drive, one
file at a time. You access it by logging in to your
WebDOCK account. It is quite similar to WebSCAN in that
you select a folder and fill out the index fields. The
last step is to select the file you want to upload by
clicking on the browse button. A file manager window
will open and allow you to locate the file that you
want to upload. When you're ready, click the Upload
button. After a few moments you will get a confirmation
from WebDOCK that your document was uploaded successfully.
This method is ideal for users who want to upload a
few documents from their hard drive.

To email a document into WebDOCK,
simply address the email to your WebDOCK assigned email
address and include the files you want to upload as
attachments. Once received by WebDOCK, you can index
each attachment and add it to your storage space. This
method is great for sending multiple files at a time.
It's also great for delegating the task of indexing
the documents to another employee.

Once you have signed up with WebDOCK,
you will have the option of activating WebDOCK Fax Services.
This service will allow your users to send documents
to and from a fax machine via WebDOCK. Once the fax
has been sent, indexing is the same as with email. Your
users index each fax and then it gets added to your
storage space.
